Face to face I'm a pretty nice guy.

Heh, I'm sure. I doubt you'd behave as you do here while actually face to
face with a man.

So now I'm a cartoon character. Well I'll put it a little more simply for
you. The paint will stick, or leave some sort of impairment, whether it be a
film, or residue on the enclosure lens. You climb your ass up there, and it
will wipe off removing the impairment (That's Resistant).
Assuming your playing a scene in your head there....is that a simple enough
answer, there Butthead? I can do some South Park too...

;-)
Jack

what would it look like as South Park?

Well yes, that's true but not for the same reason you seem to flatter
yourself into believing, friend.

You apparently think I mean that I would attack you physically. To clarify
then, I do not assault people for things they say, even people as vile and
contemptuous as yourself. I have to admit though, that it would feel pretty
good to mop the floor with your arrogant ass.

No, what I meant to say was that given your demeanor in the ng, your acid
tone, and the joy you seem to derive from demeaning and undermining the
alarm trade as a whole, it would seem unlikely that you would ever wish to
meet me or any of the other alarm people here face to face. I believe you
would go out of your way to avoid that. And I believe that the reason is
that you are probably a coward; you like to ring the doorbell and run. No
way you would pull your act face to face with a real man.

Oh, I see. You don't assault people. You just talk about it. What a
professional you are. Feel free to continue assuming you could do so.
You're at a safe enough distance to make all kinds of tough talk.

Translation: I don't take crap from you and a few of your foul-mouthed
friends.

And your tone is ever so sweet, right? You don't hesitate to berate anyone
you disagree with. Our difference in that regard is only that I have a
somewhat better command of the language and that I don't routinely make
thinly veiled threats. Perhaps that habit pattern comes from your physical
size. You seem to think you can bully people of lesser physical stature.
Needless to say, that doesn't work in a text medium. All you can do is cast
aspersions and claim that your opponent is vile and reprobate, hoping the
reader will not realize that you're describing yourself.

Oh, what nonsense! You know very well I have many times expressed respect
for those in the industry who care about their clients' security and who do
a professional job. I do lambast the crooks and con artists who infest *my*
industry. I have no tolerance at all for the Sabodishes and Fowlers who are
like an infection in the trade, fouling everything and everyone around them.
I have even less tolerance for a certain moron we both know named Artie.

Because I speak up against the iniquities in the industry you try to paint
that as attacking the industry as a whole. That leads me to wonder what it
is about those practices I abhor that you must adore.

Don't make the mistake of grouping yourself with all of the others who post
here. There are several alarm installers who post here who have earned my
utmost respect. You are definitely not among them.

I would cross the street rather than walk with a skunk or a rattlesnake.

So you believe that looking for a fist fight is an indication of bravery?
I've seen a fair number of people who actively sought out opportunities to
fight. Invariably those people picked on men smaller than themselves. Why
is it that all these toughies never pick on people bigger than themselves?
Could it be that they're just oversized cowards?

At any rate, I'm not interested in getting beaten up or beating anyone else
up. My ego isn't so weak that I need to stoke it by striking someone --
even someone as nasty as you.

Naah, I prefer to light a paper sack full of frank and then ring the bell.

You think you're a "real" man? The only way you'll know for sure is if you
pay me a visit. We both know you won't so all your tough talk is just
that -- talk.

Touched a nerve, eh?

Now let me get this straight... The only way Jack will find out for sure that
he's a "real man" is to pay you a visit??

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Climbing the mountain of bullshit you've built under your chair would be a
challenge, but hardly a test of manhood...

Was that your plan?

No, not originally but it did the trick.
You complain that idiots like Jiminex and Sabodish
pollute the newsgroup with endless vulgarity

Um, no I don't.
yet you also do as much as you
can to keep the pot boiling.

Just your pot.
The difference between you and Jiminex is he's
more honest about his hateful personality and he's less articulate than
you.

Thanks, but I don't think jiminex is more honest. I'll have to try harder.

**** you. How's that??

You're only guessing what I think of you. Perhaps I should make it easier
for you. Here's what I believe about you.

1. You're a bully, but that's because you're physically large. Against
someone of equal stature you'd probably back down fast. Likewise, if
someone smaller stood up to you you'd turn tail.
2. You're a competent technician and probably do a decent job for your
customers as long as they don't tick you off. In that case they're just as
likely to get screwed as one of Sabodish's victims.
3. You're not completely stupid like Jiminex and Sabodish (whose cumulative
IQ is a bit less than that of a turnip) but you're not exactly a MENSA
candidate.
4. You like to pretend you walk the high road but your mind is firmly
entrenched in the gutter.

Of course, that's just my opinion. Your mom probably thinks you're cute.

Well, I guess I asked for that. It doesn't change what you are though, and
everyone here knows but the newbies you suck up to.

Anyway, it was nice getting the rise out of you. Thanks for playing.

It's a "list" Andy posted originally and the same one the "Goofy Muderator"
decided should be included on his website. Don't tell Mike, but Stevens' name
is already on it... :))

Uh, all kidding aside? Kidding?
No.
Not at all what you like to imagine.

It doesn't take any imagination so see what we all see. You have revealed
all we need to know.
Feel free to continue thinking whatever makes you happy.

Uh, gee thanks.

For cryin' out loud... Read the post Andy made. I don't think he intended it
to become a "shit list" or become one of the "cornerstones" of Mike's anti-Bass
campaign...
