Why is it that I arm my system fine, leave the premises, and when I return,
the system is beeping for my code, but the trouble light is on? (LCD5500
keypad).

The trouble light was not on when I left.

Thanks
Michael

Doesn't help...

Here is the step by step...

Enter the house, kypad starts beeping to disarm...approach keypad and see
trouble light is on, and display shows time and date.

press any key and it prompts "Press * for System" and the trouble light goes
off right at the same time. I press * nd then the acess code and the system
is disarmed with th message "no alarms in memory"

The only thing that it says is "System" which is helluva descriptive!
