Can someone please explain me how two wire smoke detector activate an alarm?
As I understand you connect them to AUX output and PGM2 output!!

Where is the input that activates the alarm?

Can someone help me program this output?

I saw that PGM2 is programmed at my system at [10] Latched System Event (Strobe
    Output).

in this configuration the pgm2 is a current sensing input..

if a 2 smoke detector is in idle state it draw very little current...
but when it goes in alarm..its drawing a lot more...
like the esl 511 c that i use a lot...
will draw 70 micro amps in idle or stand by mode....(0.00007 amp)
but will draw 60 mili amp in alarm (0.06 amp)

you can see the spec of this detector at:
    http://www.sentrol.com/products/pdf/ESL511_PIB.pdf

Now to program the 832 to work with 2 wire detector you need to set pgm2 for
2 wire somke support as stated in section 5.10 of the instalation manual
this should be programed as type 04

this is programed in section 009 of the panel there is 4 digit ot be entered
    in that section..
the first 2 disgit is for pgm1 and the 3rd and 4th degit are for pgm2 (enter
    04)

    hope it helped

    1) Program for two-wire smoke support by programming PGM2 for data support...
    In section {009}

    1) Program the system for two-wire smoke support by programming PGM2
as data by putting an [04] in section 009.

    2) Wire smokes by connecting + to Aux+ and - to PGM2.

    3) Remember to remove the jumper marked J1 or Con1 on the board. If
you do not remove it, the panel will show trouble. If there is no such
jumper, that version of the 832 does not support 2-wire smokes.
