Dear forum
I have an old microphone which you all can see here

http://www.geocities.com/miscskrammel/PICT0058.JPG

and here

http://www.geocities.com/miscskrammel/PICT0059.JPG

My problem is (as you see on the pictures) that the little wires
inside the mic has broken off the top piece of the mic. i also think a
wire is missing?! it seems like two wires should be attached to the
top piece, but i cant figure out where they should come from and where
they go?!

hope you can help me out, maybe just to find some kind of blueprint
off a mic like this?!

The "top piece" or ball does not and should not have wires going to
it....... the mic element is the piece mounted in rubber at the top of the
cylinder and should be connected to the switch and connector with fine
wires, which if broken off flush could render the microphone
unrepairable.... or at least not easily.

If you have a model number and brand, you might check the manufacturer's web
site for a wiring diagram.

Connect the Red and Black to the cylinder at the lower end of the Picture.
There are 2 solder pads towards the top of it, and 2 solder pads towards the
bottom.
Solder the red and black to the bottom 2 pads (Polarity doesn't matter
unless you use 2 or more mics)
