I saw in a mag, a while back, an overgrown RJ-45 connector that had an
entire uP with comm stack inside. I'm considering making a little OEM
timing board, and ethernet would be a cool option if it didn't take up
much footprint.
Does anybody know who makes these things? Any experiences? If I google
"ethernet adapter" or whatever, I get megahits. We're currently using
a nice little board from Newport to get ethernet into instruments, but
it's too big for what I'd like to do.
Thanks,
John
