silly, so I said "Bob, I'm not your father." Somehow, that was exactly
the wrong thing to say. He ran across the room, gathering momentum,
dove, and hit me square. Next thing I knew, I was flat on my back, he
was on top of me, and he was screaming. I still had my x-acto knife in
my hand, and thought about using it, but I figured it would take an
hour or two to do any serious bodily harm with a #16 blade. But he
rolled off and started crying, so that was that.

The last guy we fired tried to scam us on jury duty, taking time off
with pay but not having to go in. When we collected his stuff to send
home, turns out he'd been using our dsl bandwidth to fill cd's and
hard drives with asian porn.

It's been a strange trip.
