IBM selectric stuck keyboard

My IBM selectric keyboard just jammed. Carriage return works, backspace works. Any ideas to get it running again?

Do you mean a keyboard on a selectric typewriter?

try here. This person identifies the most common cause for a key sticking down as lack of lubrication.

Oddly enough, these are apparently almost 100% mechanical.

Yes the actual keyboard. When pressing on any letter there is no response.

Those typewriters are mostly mechanical. If any keys work then the electrical part is probably OK. Check for something common to all keys.
