Hi guys, newbie here....
Wife goes into kitchen, beep-beep--beeps etc
on the microwave, comes back, sits down and
back into her book.
A few minutes later another BEEEEEEEEEP,
(I'm focused on a problem so that's distracting).
That was a "tea steeping" timer. Well for you
tea drinkers there is a fair diff between 4 & 6
minutes.
So here's the SPEC.
-3 push button switches, 4,5,6 minutes.
(she pushes either).
-Brief pleasant audio annuciation at time out.
-AA battery powered.
-ultra low quiscent current, if needed.
-cheap, (I may make a few up for Xmas gifts).
I know a bit about 555's, OP amps, latches,
but before reinventing the wheel I was wondering
if a schematic might be on the net, or I'll design
it myself, hopefully with some suggestions from
this group.
Regards
Ken
