Anyone know this manufacturer?

I have looked up this part number, and it complies with a GE resistor, but I can't find anything about R.L.C. Does anyone know if they were acquired by GE? Or why a signal light would need to have such a high resistance? I don't think that this is a rlc. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like an antic.
Where did this come out from?
Could be monitoring high voltage?

It is an indication light from what I was told by the electrician who has been at my plant for 45 years. They had high voltage (medium from the technical perspective) motors at the base of the building, 2300V screw conveyors, but on the top of the building for filling the silos it was 480V motors controlling valves. The part is actually brand new, they removed the old panels sometime in the 80s and never removed the old inventory for it. I'm trying to not have to throw all of this old equipment out. It just seems like a total waste to me to do that.

That makes sense ,if it was a 2300v or 480V circuit indication light.
Don't trow them away looks like they sell for some Dineros :
13$ used on Ebay
This one wants 50$ for a new piece.
You could sell them as well...

I don't know for sure, but there was an RCL Electronics that specialized in resistors. It was sued by Dale Electronics for patent infringement in the early 1970's. May have gone out of business for that back then.
They did a lot of specialized molding and composite work for specific applications.

Thanks Dorke and shrtnd, the manufacturer I couldn't find anything about, makes sense why I could find it as a GE part but not a RLC. And the two of these that I have are brand new as well, also the redington counters I found. So much waste from this inventory clean up it is making me sick. I just wish my truck could handle the 4 250 hp motors they are throwing out today.

Your picture shows "R. C. L." on the part in question (dyslectic?)
What makes sense to me is that RCL MADE the part under contract to GE, hence the GE part number.

Not dyslexic, just exhausted, 10 hour days and call outs at night have robbed me of sleep this week. I would think that GE would have had them put their logo on it if they had commissioned them though.
