ac adaptor output 9v -1A to 12v-1.5A

for safety pre-caution
my modem AC ADAPTOR don't work anymore
input: 220V-50Hz
output: 9V-1A

i wanna know if i could use the two other AC Adaptor
i have at home with
input: 100-240V-50-60Hz 0.5A max
output: 12v- 1.5A
And
input: 100-240V-50\60Hz. 0.6A
output: 12v-1.5A

You did not specify if the original/spare adapters output DC or AC !

Highly likely, the modem works with 5V DC internally. The defunct adapter is converted by circuitry in the modem to produce the 5VDC it needs.

Chances are good to swap it with your spares; IF the defunct adapter was not killed by a failure in the modem.

Both adapters are effectively equivalent.

Without more information (preferably in less threads) I can;t be more precise.

edit: Threads merged.

edit2: I'd give you something more than 50/50 that the other adapters would work (and if they do it may run somewhat hotter). They will almost certainly either work or damage the modem. No likely third option.
