Need help determining what kind of fuse this is?

Yea you guys were right. I actually took it to my job and had to look at it under a microscope to find the markings. It was also covered in the melted plastic but its a 3A 250v fuse. But didnt know it was called a pico fuse. Appreciate the help

Need help determining what kind of fuse this is?

Well thats what I thought too but it is a fuse. I took the outside rubber case off (the black stuff) and its a glass fuse. Ohmed the good one out and measures like a fuse. Ohmed the bad one out and its busted. Indication on the PCB board shows F1 and F2

    Picaxe programming help

I measure the LDR without any power applied to it and got a different reading. WIth light on the LDR, depending on how close it was to it, was anywhere from 300 ohms to 25 Kohms. When I blocked the light, it was anywhere from 150 -200 Kohms.

    Picaxe programming help

Hey guys. FInally getting a little time to get back on here. So I tested the photocell that I currently have on my design. Im not sure of the model number on it. But what I can tell you is that when the light is hitting the cell, the meter reads 27 Mohms. When I cover it, it shows O.L Mohms.

Ah yes but I did end up putting in a resistor last weekend. Sorry, forgot to mention that one too. It has a 10k resistor in there. I read that on the picaxe manuals that I needed one there.

Here is a schematic for ya. The LED's are not in there and also the caps that are before and after the voltage regulator. But just so you know, there are 390ohm resistors in series with the LED's. On the voltage regulator there are 10uf caps on the input and output. There will be a 1uf on the...

    Picaxe programming help

I guess i didnt mean 0v exactly. Cause i think with the light and no light the difference in voltage is its slightly over 5v and then when its dark i do believe 4.65v. Ill have to recheck that. Im wanting to have the photocell turn on an output pin on the picaxe that will trip the relay. I...

    Picaxe programming help

Ah yea sorry. Basically I cant get the phtotocell to work at all. In the video I made you can see me covering the photocell and the LED goes out but at the end of the video you will see my DMM and it doesn't go to 0v at any time. Thats what I dont understand though. I dont get the whole...

So im having a little trouble understanding variables with Picaxe. I have read the manuals and watch some videos and just still confusing to be honest. So im using the picaxe 08 chip. Basically all im trying to do is use a photo cell that will have a constant laser aimed on it. When the beam is...

    Help with comparison of DMM's.

So a fluke 117 would be the ideal meter for me i guess. Im more studying to be an electronics technician so I guess that can be in a range of things. Guess that's what Ill buy.

    Help with comparison of DMM's.

Im pretty much just looking at working in a career with low voltage. Nothing to crazy but you never know where it might take me. But I just got a job wiring PLC circuits and we haven't even touched PLC's yet ha So don't know anything about them.
