Hi and Merry Christmas to you all!
Has anyone worked with "TACT" or "EQUINOX" before?
I was going through one of the Siemens job descriptions and saw these two and just started wondering what are they? Has anyone ever had to deal with any one of those? I tried google, looks like they are...
Hi All!
I am looking for a decent, medium priced electrical estimation software for large scale industrial works. Any recommendations and advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I did that. I got 0.55 ohm. How would I use that to calculate the length? Also quick question. If I got an ELV circuit (24v) and my equipment takes 100w I get current of 4.16A. Does that mean Extra Low Voltage circuit could actually kill me?
Hi. How do I calculate cable length using csa and r1 and r2 reading. (On a dead circuit). Cuz I am trying to calculate voltage drop on elv cable.
So I got a 1.5 cable that will have 24v going through it to 100w device. How do I get voltage drop from this information?
Thanks.
Hi. I 'll go straight to the point cuz it's doing my head in!
I, my brother and sister bought a game from Bill for £30. Bill decided to give £5 back and asked Dick to give us the money. Dick gave us £1 each and kept £2 for himself. So we ended up paying £9 each for the game. Let's check the...
Merry Christmas to everyone!
This might be a bit off topic but I can't find a single straight answer anywhere else.
I can't decide which TV to buy, KS7 or KS8, they're almost identical, the only big difference that I managed to find was their price difference and true black feature in KS8...
It's a single phase. 1.5 mm diameter. Distance is not big either.... also it's fed from 13 amp spur, so I think it would have blown the fuse if it was taking that much current. But what can possibly be wrong with controller? All the other functions are fine.
Hi all,
I am trying to calculate maximum current drawn by daikin air conditioning unit.
On technical sheet it says maximum power is 6.6 kw.
So if I operate the unit at maximum power I draw 6.6/240 amps, don't I?
Now the unit is supplied by 1.5mm flex, which has current carrying capacity...
Hi all,
I'd like to provide my shed with some power. I know that ideally I should use a spare way in my consumer unit, but I want to save some time, money and effort and so I am thinking to add a spur to "garage radial circuit". I have a plan in my head, but I want to check it with someone...
Hi,
This year I've finished year 1 of my BEng Electrical and Electronics degree (Part-time); I also started working in construction industry and I found it very interesting and with big potential for future research.
When I started working there, I realised that while I am doing part time...
Well it has changed a small bit in the last 10 years - but nothing major. When I was in their training centre, I asked about studying material and all that, they told me that everything you see in here, can't really go outside because it's kind of classified. They didn't mention any legal...
