Yenka and PCB Creation

Hi

I am looking for some help specifically relating to the YENKA software.

My single problem is that when adding a 4017 IC to a circuit it presents a symbol representing the IC yet there is no where to add a +Voltage to the 4017 symbol. As a consequence when using the PCB engine to design the layout non is added so the IC is not connected to power. The simulator seems to know it should be connected but the PCB engine does not.

Can anyone advise how to overcome what seems to be a simple problem!

Can you edit/create components? You might be able to modify the file through such a facility.

Can I make my own custom electronics objects? (answer: No.)

That last makes it almost useless for almost any practical purposes. Time spent finding & learning a new schematic editor / simulator / PCB layout program would be time well spent.

Thanks for your help, I thought it would be something simple and it was. You simply add a Vdd connector to the supply you wish to connect to you IC and it does it automatically.
