Hello,

While this is still technically electronics, it is more of a program specific question.
I have been using Yenka for years now and I absolutely love using it. Lately, I have taken up a challenge to try to build every single logic gate out of relays. While I have succeeded, I took it further, to which the problem arose.

While building a full adder, I realised that space was getting a little tight. I still finished, but I want to take it further and build an 8 bit adder and subtractor. However, the problem is that the space we are given to work with is very tight at this stage. Does anyone know how to increase the project space within Yenka in order to make this challenge easier? I am hoping this is possible as I would love to complete my final challenges.

Thanks in advance,
Techmo

I don't know yenka. Does it support hierarchical design (building blocks from circuit elements and using these blocks in other circuits)?
If so, you could create a half-adder as a first block.
Then create a full adder from two half adders.
Then create a 4 bit full adder from 4 1 bit full adders and so on.
If yenka doesn't support this design style, I'm at a loss, sorry.
