pancake slip rings

I am searching for a pancake slip ring for my work, but I cannot seem to find a good low budget solution, I have a couple leads I have not yet tied off, but for some reason most slip ring manufacturers manufacture drum slip rings, not pancake. Is there any reason for that? Are pancake rings harder to manufacture, or just low customer demand?

I'm looking for a pancake slip ring, it does not have to be enclosed, inner diameter is 1.5in, outer diameter is 5.6in, and I am trying to keep the thickness down to .5in if possible. I'm looking at:

1x 2Amp
1x 5Amp
9x 1Amp
1x 3Amp

channels. So far the cheapest quote is at $2000 per unit with an order of no less than 10 units, which is way too much for prototyping purposes. Anyone know any pancake/disc/platter slip ring manufacturers?

Is there any possibility you could draw the part in something like EAGLE CAD, then send it to a PCB manufacturer?
