Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have a 13 inch Zenith SRV1300S TV/VCR Combo
that my mother gave me years ago for graduation. In a recent move, the
remote was lost, IMAGINE THAT!!! I have looked all over the net and can't
find an original replacement. If anyone can help me, I would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

You must get a new remote from any authorized Zenith parts distributor, or
service centre. In the user book that came with the TV set, there should be
reference to the service people for your set. Below is a link to a company
on the net that sells Zenith parts. If you want to purchase through the net,
they should be able to help you.

This is a very big Zenith parts dealer.

Normally replacement parts for Zenith combos are not available through Zenith
parts distributers. I know this sounds really dumb, and it's a pain in the a**.
What you have to do is buy through where the set was originally purchased. I
believe the SRV1300 sold through Sears. If this is the case you have no other
option than going to Sears and ordering the remote. Of course dealing with
Sears is always loads of fun because they have no parts people that are smart
enough to spell their own names, so be ready with all the possible names for
"remote" to try to help them locate this very hard to locate part. Possibilitys
include "wand, clicker, hand unit, transmitter-remote, remote-transmitter" ect.
A few hours of work, and you'll get your clicker.
