On the given link there is nothing about this type of demodulator or detector.
It is strange that there is so small amount of information about this.

Yes, that's true.
I know what FM modulation/demodulation is but what is Weiss?
What are you trying to achieve?

Anything to do with metal detectors? as in discrimination or detection?
I am just curious.

EDIT: I just read this in Wiki....
Other FM detectors
Less common, specialized, or obsolescent types of detectors include:[8]

  • Travis[9] or double tuned circuit discriminator using two non-interacting tuned circuits above and below the nominal center frequency
  • Weiss discriminator which uses a single LC tuned circuit or crystal
  • Pulse count discriminator which converts the frequency to a train of constant amplitude pulses, producing a voltage directly proportional to the frequency

Ah ok. That circuit is on a Spanish website 'Radioaficion'.
Why not use their 'Mini chat' service y hablar.
There are thousands of circuits online that do not work. Might be why there is no info on this particular circuit.
