The ones above do that, they are called momentary switches, same as your link.

I am not sure how they work inside but that is what I would order if I wanted a switch to spring back. Unless they have named it incorrectly.

Yes adam. This is very likely with many chineese sellers on e-bay. I will send them an e-mail to make sure.

So they are just called momentary switches.

Thank you.

Yes, they often use the term MOM for momentary.

Well what you say makes sense but after looking at the diagram of the switch i dont see any "return spring" inside it.
shouldn't there be one ?

Here is my question:

Good day.
Does the switch lever go back to initial position after released ?
Thank you.

Ok here is the seller's answer :

the actual item is the same as the picture and item description shown on ebay.
pls check again to see if it's the item you really want,ok?

Can you trust a seller that gives this answer? while listing says momentary and description says SPDT On/On 2 Position Toggle Switch.

Ummmm..... I would try and get them from RS or Digikey and check the data sheet. EBay can be a bit of a pain, that's why I don't use them anymore. I prefer Amazon personally.

Sounds like you 'talked' to a salesperson, not somebody who actually knows what the switch is.
From the description the seller supplied to you, it sure doesn't SOUND like a momentary switch.
I'd look elsewhere.
I've seen some catalog descriptions mention, 'retrun to center', when they describe their momentary
switches.

It sounds like it is a 2 posn (non sprung return)
The two types are MOM (spring return) or maintained, I suspect the ones in the original post are maintained.
BTW there are also the Telemecanique ZB2 series operator button type you can get them in several configurations, they now sell them on ebay out of China cheap. If these will work for you?
