resistor help

hi guys, i have a garmin etrex gps which worked ok sometimes, but when there was too much vibration would turn off. i decided to open it up, but as i opened it ive damaged a part. its a small yellow rectangle shape which has 107 J and P060M on it. does anybody have any idea what it is and where i could source another from?

Can you snap a picture, it's likely a 100uF 5% capacitor...

yup definately sounds like a tantalum cap

Yep, that's a tantalum cap...

This should work as a replacement, this is a 20 volt version, you won't get much higher volt wise in that package with that uF value... So this should be a safe bet...

Double check dimensions... This one is 4.3 mm W x 7.3 mm L

That is likely a 56uH inductor... If you can provide some measurements I could line you to a replacement at mouser...

this one is 7.3 x 7.3 x 4.5 mm

the 56uH inductor looks like its 5 x 5 x 3 mm or there abouts. i dont know if it will help but it says 560 on the top? the tantalum cap measurement is 6 L x 3 W
