The Capacitor is a 0.047 uF with a built in 100 ohm resistor. it acts as a snubber for a temperature controller. I have attach the data sheet for the capacitor. Let me know if this helps.
1) have you gone to the manufacturer of the equip to se if they can supply spare parts ?
2) There is a remote chance that Digikey etc may supply a part like that, but you may find it was a specialist part made for the equip manufacturer
3) last choice option .... you could always just make your own replacement using a cap and a resistor

1) I went to the manufacturer and they have the part but it may take a while to reach me and I thought that if I could get a replacement locally I could use it to get the equipment working.
2) I have tried searching the net for replacement with no luck so I tried your guys knowing that you have a lot of experience with electronic components.
3) This is my last resort. I know that I could use a cap and a resistor and put it in series to make the component but I was hoping to get a component that would look good. if you know what I mean.
