Hello
Did voltage reading on sonicview 8000hd the power supply got reading of 30 volt should be 22 volt on pin 3 and 4 both pin read 30 volts which is 8 volt more than should be,is that bad or good to have 8 volts more than what is call for.?

A lot more information is needed.
Many power supplies have a higher voltage so that the voltage drops to say 22v when fully loaded.

mrel,
How do you know what should the voltage be?have you got a service manual?
In general it is a bad thing not to have the correct voltage with such a big difference,
but one must be specific to the circuit.

The voltage printed on the circuit board where pins at.

and is that supposed to be voltage BETWEEN the pins 3 and 4
or from either pin to the 0V rail ?

how about a sharp clear pic of that part of the board, so we know you have interpreted it correctly
