Stupidly simple Circuit reading question

Hey all, first post here (hopefully my next posts will be more intelligent!)

I'm working on a circuit, but want to make sure I do it right the first time. I'm new to reading schematics, but think I've got it down.

Anyway, can someone just confirm for me, can both resistors be connected together with the open circle at the top? They're just separated like that to make it easier to read correct?

I know they say there are no stupid questions, but I think I proved em wrong  Thanks for the help!

That's a big pic' for a small circuit.. ;)
I read it as that they're connected together, just "happening" to have a connection/test point there ("circle").

Haha sorry, it was cropped from a scan of a bigger circuit, just didn't to confuse you with trying to explain where it was.

Good to know, that's how I read it too. It's just, this circuit connects to a valuable tube amp of mine, and fixing the amp will be a lot more expensive than asking a stupid simple question about a circuit :p
