Hi,
Does somebody know the "rules and regulations" for
placing a pv-inverter system of abt 2.5 KWp on your roof
in the Netherlands. especially the connection to the 230 v powergrid.

Thanks

: btw, my panels are active for almost one year now, and they supplied me more
: than 646 KWh already. Not too bad for 52o57'48''N in our country. I love
: watching the meter going backwards these days.

Is the inverter special to sync with the power
grid? And surely it has an automatic disconnect
from the grid if something goes wrong.

About what did that part of the system cost?

The ones i am planning to use are philips psi-500 inverters.(or psi-300 for 300 Watt)
The beauty of these inverters are that you can connect them together in a string.
eg. if you need (or can afford) 500 extra watt's just buy 4 x 125/150 Wp solar panels and 1 small psi-500 inverter
and just connect it to the inverters already in use.
They are protected against all errors.
look at http://www.solar.philips.com/en/home/downloads.htm for aal kind of info.
