PLL lmx2326 Help

HI,

I plan to use a LMX2326 (NS) with a large bandwidth VCO (zcomm v674me02).
I don't want to use an active loop filter, but my VCO needs Vtuning from 1
to 14 V.

Can I use a passive loop filter when connecting VP (on lmx2326) connected to
+15V dc ?

The Vp limit of the LMX2326 is +5.5V max so connection to +15 is not
possible. I don't see how to avoid an active loop filter with the Zcomm part
and it's not really that big a deal.

You could roll your own VCO but personally I'd rather wrestle the active
loop filter than the problems you are likely to encounter with a home-made,
+5V-tuned, 1.7-2.5GHz VCO.
