I need good RF signal generator

Hi , everyone.
I need good RF signal generator schematic(homebrew) for OC up to 27mhz and
something for 144MHZ , no valves;
or some good link where I can see them.
I live in Italy. Two years ago , I saw in the magazine Elettronica-Flash
very good one made by Castelnuovo ,so I remember his name.
I searched in several engines ,google ,altavista and so on , but I found
nothing .
do you help me ?

Try the AD9854 DDS from Analog Devices. Has 1mHz resolution.
Requires a processor to it though.
