Maybe some of you remember the thread I started four weeks ago on this
subject. I just wanted to mention that replacing the 1N4001 (piece
of crap knowingly used for lack of proper component in junkbox) with a
MUR420 (high-speed Schottky) solved the problem entirely, at once.
