Did you ever try the bicycle LED headlight thing they sell?

No. I am adamantly against them. I use a MagLight flashlight with an
incandescent bulb. It is far brighter, which is why cops still use them.

I did have a stupid cop trying to tell me that "LEDs are brighter than
bulbs now." And he pointed to his high end, not even available to the
consumer PIG car beacon on top of the PIG car he used to illicitly stop
me.

The idiot was making this contention with an incandescent MagLight
strapped onto his belt as he spoke.

I had to laugh.

I think it is truly sad that this incompetent faction of our society
gets paid more than double what the retarded bastards are worth.

When I was a kid, all the men lived on the same street. Now, the pigs
have lives, and the rest of the citizenry gets cake.

I call bullshit!

The dumb motherfuckers at the top had better not even think about
raising taxes. If they cannot balance things with what they already
have, then it is THEY we need to cut.

The guy running the Postal Service makes $800k a year. A good number
of them make about $174k a year. They took away all the damned vending
machines because some idiot thought that shooting themselves in the foot
might do some good. It is really sad that they let things get this way,
and now want to complain when we want to cull the excess, and that
usually means the jobs of men and women.

I know a nice brick factory, down by the new BORDER WALL being built
(elect me) that has plenty of openings. We'll build a few new prisons
too.

If I were to get into office, I would give America back its name and
worldwide leadership status. We do have it now, but the rest of the
world has been duped into thinking we somehow stopped helping folks. We
spend billions on other folks around the world, every year.

So, I would reform the ATF and the DEA and they would be manning the
new prisons and the border brick factories (used in the prisons and the
border wall).

If you fail on the first pass through the metal detector at the airport
the first time, you get to remove the item and GO BACK THROUGH the
detector. This "step aside and get groped" crap doesn't cut it. OR,
they simply need to have a secondary full body detector in the reject
zone, instead of the damned wand thingy.

I cannot believe how far out the window common sense has gone in the
last twenty years.

And yes, I would take the NON narcotic cannabis OFF the schedule one
status, as it does NOT qualify as a narcotic to start with. That way,
all the laws in all 50 states are rendered null and void because it will
no longer be a "controlled substance". Or at least it would be on the
lower schedule and we could actually make an industry out of a few of the
raw material products the plant creates.

I'm afraid I don't get your point. What does intensity binning
have to do with surviving a higher-than-normal drive current?

One would think that the proper culling method to obtain that desired
end would be to use a thermal imager and static current flows. Develop a
table (graph). The plotted points would show ANY and ALL LEDs that would
suffer from an earlier death than the others. AND it would show which
ones would likely last or perform beyond all the others in the batch/lot.

The IR emitted right on the LED die segment would be directly
proportional to light output as well. Up to a point near the extreme
ends. So no need to attempt to measure the light output. The IR will
cull the best units out just fine.

Using a fixture, one could do this with a mere IR thermometer without
imaging capacity as well.

You just scored an 11-bagger! I think that's a DimBulb record!
Congratulations on this accomplishment!

Thanks. He's really pretty easy to send out of control.

You
answered a single post[*] 11 times. Stupid, but that's to be expected.

No. I answered a single post 6 times.

We all understand that math isn't your strong suit.

Math? It doesn't require math. Just the ability to count.
See!
You're AlwaysWrong.

He is so stupid and so consistently wrong that he becoming boring.

It is amazing that one can be so consistent.

Mommy's hamper is calling, DimBulb.

Then tell your retarded mommy that I am not interested in her hamper.

You are as dumb as it gets.

The other 5 were responses to OTHER Posts in the same thread, you

You're welcome. Sure, but I thought my personal best (8) was pretty good.
That was a decade ago, so perhaps there's been some inflation. ;-)

He's been here for a decade? Hard to believe somebody hasn't killed him
before now.

Trick: use depleted cells, and your cheapo will last forever. Most
consumer electronics only drain alkalines to 1.2v/cell--a perfect
source of cells for LED flashlights.

This statement is about as untrue as it gets.

"most consumer electronics" are obviously beyond your capacity to grasp
correctly, because you are fucking wrong, boy!

Oh, and an Alkiline battery stays up at full voltage until right up to
the avalanche point.

Why? What you gonna do?

Yet another total retard on Usenet.

You couldn't "bring a storm" if your life depended on it, fucktard.
