I'm thinking of using Altium to target an Actel SmartFusion FPGA (has hard arm ip!!). Normally the vendor tool, libero in this case, would probably synthesize/route the best logic, but I'd really like to utilize some of Altium's IP blocks... including the Tasking Processor for some multiprocessor fun!

Anyone have any experience using Altium to do FPGA design?

Any issues switching back and forth between Altum and the vendor tool to tweak and/or program the chip?
