11:00 and I have had a problem with two corporations and their policy.
I rented a car for a week, only needed it three days, I attempted to return
it early. If I return it today the cost is $210, if I wait 4 more days the
cost is $193. I said fine, just charge me for a week and I'll leave the car
here, the clerk said he could not do that, if he processed the paperwork
it would be $210.
So I have the car parked at my home four days, I save $17, and the rental
company (Budget) looses the chance to earn an additional four days of
rental fees.
Great policy, I'm pissed and they lose money.
I have been having short term intermitent internet outages once, twice maybe
three times a day. They might last 5 minutes, the cable LED is out when this
happens (tv is fine). I called the company a couple of times, they do their
check
and yea it is working, but registered the complaint and got a case #. I ask
if I could
take the modem into the local office and exchange it, they checked and said
yes.
I took it in to exchange this morning and found, they can't do that,
"somebody
read something wrong" they said. So they set up an appointment to have their
representative come out and take care of it.
So a truck, gas, an employee and he won't find anything wrong because it
will
be working. I'll tell him at least exchange the modem, he will and if that
fixes it,
they wasted all of the above. If the modem doesn't fix it, they again wasted
all
of the above.
Great policy, I'm pissed and they lose money.
End of Rant!
Thanks,
Mike
