Hi everyone,
I need some help with my project.
I am doing a redesign of a charger port for an Ophthalmoscope (optical device) and need some help with knowing the insides of the charger port.
When the ophthalmoscope is placed on top of the big black button it switches the ophthalmoscope off and starts charging it.
I would like to know how this happens and what electrics inside it make it charge.
It is wall mounted and plugged into the mains. The ophthalmascope is attached to it (the charger) via wire. Also what is the 'IN' 'OUT' wires for on the charging port?

Your help would be much appreciated, thanks
