Hi,
I am servicing a dead Zenith SMS1935S with a 9-1244 module mainboard.
At least two high power ceramic resistors are open - RX3420 actually
cracked open, and RX3402 left a brown spot on the circuit board in its
footprint (there are several resistors and diodes under it, but they
test OK). The ceramic resistors don't appear to be marked (or the
markings cooked off). Can the values be deduced by the resistor
dimensions and lead length? For example, the cracked resistor is 1/2 "
square, 2 1/2" long and stands on 1 1/4" stilts. Alternatively, does
someone have the component values from a schematic?
