atx power supply turn on

I am trying to make a PS-ATX-300S computer power supply come on to
power a car radio. I only need 2 12V leads and a -12V ground. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

this allows the power supply to come on but the radio will not come on

Are you sure you need +12V and -12V, and not +12V and 0V ? If you feed
24V to a 12V car radio you're likely to fry it.

You sure about that? A car radio needs 12v, thats 12v+ and Ground not 12v-.
If you use 12v+ and 12v- you'll have 24v and you'll blow the radio. I think
you'll find using the yellow 12v+ and black ground from the ATX drive
connectors will give you the 12v you need.

Also the atx supply will provide a lot of amps at the 12v+ but the 12v- is
usually rated at less than one amp. try drawing more than that and the atx
supply will not like it..
