4 PC printer ports

I'm wondering if there are any DIY projects
for putting 4 parallel ports on an ISA or
PCI card. I have a use for 4 ports in one
machine, and I can't find too many commercial
products like this any more...

the bios permits only 3 ports...

if u just want to use the data pins from the port then there is no need
of those ports..

u can use 8255... and controll it with a proper software ..

each 8255 can give u 3 ports(mode0)

or two input/output ports(mode1)

or one fully bi-directional port and one I/O port(mode2)
