What would you call a "reasonable price"? How many do you need?

How many do you want? I have quite a few 3 volt latching relays. They have two coils (one for on and one for off) or you can use just one coil and reverse the polarity.

They are single pole changeover and rated at 8 amps. Around 25mm x 16mm x 12mm.

You do understand that if you use Daniel's latching relays you will need extra circuitry to switch the relays on and off ?
just in case you didn't pick up on that ?

Yes, you are right.

I use VN10LM MOSFET's to drive them from PIC micro's. One for on and one for off. You only have to pulse them for around 100 to 200mS to latch them.

Never the less, if you only need 6 or so for now, I can send them to you for experimentation. Please PM me your address and I will try to get them out to you before Christmas. I am not to concerned with payment if that helps.
