Hi, I'm a 59 year old man with hearing difficulties.
I have a 224 in electronics so I sort of know how things work.
To get to the question,I needed a headphone amplifier above 1 watt per channel as the little valve amp I purchased is not powerful enough for my hearing,so I decided to build one using the tda2822m on prototype PCB,I purchased a passive tone control kit and it works fantastic, however ,the 3.5mm socket's I bought leave a lot to be desired,I need some robust socket's not rubbish as I seemingly have purchased ,thank you in advance and hope you can point me in the right direction for some good socket's
