No matter.

Have lost the exact count, but this will probably end up as my technical
article #2000.

Well, when you start your numbering at 1999.75 that exaplains a lot about
your "techical" expertise.

You missed hiring someone competent to create and manage your
site...what a fucking trainwreck.

Thats not a very polite way reply to an "elder guru" of electronics
industry

To all the fucktard idiots on AMOE

It not the critic who counts. Not the one who points out how the strong man
stumbled or how the doer of the deeds might have done better.

The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is
marred by blood sweat and dust, who stives valiantly but errs and comes
short again and again because there is no human endeavor without
shortcoming; Who knows the great enthusiasms - the great devotions, and who,
if he wins, knows the triumphs of high achievement and who, if his efforts
are checkered by defeat, at least fails while daring greatly so that his
place shall never be with those cold timid souls who know neither victory
nor defeat.

Please see http://www.tinaja.com/whtnu05.asp for June 18th.
What did I miss?
What would you add?

"Have a concise mission statement for the site."

Oh please, I think you've attended one too many management seminars.
Mission statements are for idiots.

"Keep all banners and ads top quality."

How about no ads or banners...ever.

"Make your sourcecode freely available."

Like you have a choice.

"Have live help reachable 24/7."

Umm ok, I'll hire three people.

"Strongly encourage readers using Acrobat smoothing and CoolType."

To do what?

Mission statements are for idiots.

If you cannot clearly state to yourself in a few words what the site
goals are, neither will anyone else be able to.
"Keep all banners and ads top quality."

How about no ads or banners...ever.

And the funding alternatives to banners are....?
"Make your sourcecode freely available."

Like you have a choice.

Virtually NO website except ours makes their PDF document and other
resource sourcecode freely available. See our .PSL files for examples.

Also, Nobody receives your actual HTML source code if you are properly
using your server side .ASP files. All you see is what your sourcecode
decides to deliver to the viewer.
"Have live help reachable 24/7."

Umm ok, I'll hire three people.

It only takes one. Or two at most.
"Strongly encourage readers using Acrobat smoothing and CoolType."

To do what?

Improve screen legibility and clarity FAR beyond the printed page.
See http://www.tinaja.com/glib/legible1.pdf

Nothing else comes remotely close.
Except possibly for http://www.tinaja.com/glib/bmfauto1.pdf

Your ignorange of the world
is exceeded only by your willingness to expose your shortcomings.

Don Lancaster has been a working engineer
and widely published author of technical articles for decades
(which I suspect is longer than you have been alive).

:While they acknowlege .PDF compatibility, they "not even wrong"
:grossly understate the capabilities of Acrobat.

Did you mean
While they acknowlege .PDF compatibility, they ARE "not even wrong"
IN grossly understatING the capabilities of Acrobat. ?
..
..
:~ Aggressively use your log files and log reports
and
:~ Make agressive use of your site log info.
is redundant.
..
..
What would you add?
Keep backqround images (if you feel COMPELLED to use them) VERY dim
so that text can be read by old codgers.
Don, you could go a few clicks lighter on the contrast ratio IMO.
..
..
:~ Make sure you are fully Firefox and other browser compatible.
:
A link to http://validator.w3.org/ would be apt.

So, how's the Magic Sinewave on 6-pin PIC going?
