I have a Yamaha RX 1100U receiver that I've repaired, one fault was a
resistor open, which I replaced and it works ok. But, A guy on a TV repair
forum says there was a Yamaho bulletin that the resistor should be replaced
with a varistor, Yamaha part # VH661300, or it would probably fail again.
Partsolver shows this item, but says is no longer available. They also show
it as PTH61AR. I have not been able to find the specs on this item.
If anyone happens to have the specs, or knows what would be a suitable
substitute, I would really appreciate it.
