Yamaha DSP-E580 Information

Hi!

I found the manual for this thing on Yamaha's web site. It doesn't tell me
much about the thing. I've gathered that it does center channel and
seemingly rear (left + right rear) amplification as well as some DSP effects
and Dolby Pro Logic stuff. I have no use for it in that setup and it really
sounds like an EUD* to me.

I'm wondering if there is any way to use it as a regular stereo power
amp...I don't have the remote (which may not be good), but all I could get
it to do from the front panel was to play sound with effects applied or
remain completely silent.
