I don't know about that.I guess it depends who you are.
There are more than a few folk who would be pleasantly surprised if
your battery went BOOM!
**** off, adolescent retard.

What is the votage of the battery in a car? 12 V right?
Then why is Cigar-Lighter Adaptor 13.8V ?
Also, how the 13.8 (not 13.9 or 13.7) V is derived?

What a dreadful man!
Are you in the habit of teaching adolescents to swear?
It strikes me you need a close eye keeping on you.
Are you on probation or parole of some kind?

Do I hear anything???
Have fun
Stanislaw.
13.8V / 6 cells = 2.3V / cell, the nominal 'on charge' voltage.
And cell status. ie specific gravity of each.Depends on temperature.
You, and your assessments are nearly as retarded as the idiot I was
beating down.
Take a hike, twit. (You gave yourself away, sock puppet, with your
retarded follow up).
Liar.

Gonna get you, boy. Jail is not a pretty place, and you won't be well
received.
Now all they need to do is make that sticker change its' value based on_ken_3 said:Depends on temperature.

I think we have strayed from the simplest answer to the let's split hair
answers.
no. it's only called a 12V battery
itr's connected to the battery.
typical voltages range from 13.5 to 14.4,
but sometimes (rare events) it'll be less than 10V or more than 40.
Heard that threat before, Nothing!!!
I have all I need to expose you.
referring to the engine running, battery charging voltage levels which
vary quite a bit depending mainly on alternator temperature, from
14.75 to 13.3 volts. It is supposed to vary according to battery
temperature but doesn't just for an example of the not so perfect real
world.
Is this sheepherder shitforbrainz a netKKKop? I think I had sex with
his old lady last night. Really sucked.
I filed a complaint about a post made by an idiot that CLONED one of my
nyms.
Are you telling us that it was you that goes around behind me, cloning
me?
I never filed a complaint about YOU at all. I filed a complaint about
a post that some other idiot filed a complaint on me about which did not
originate from me.
So that was you?
And to think that you have been denying it this whole time.
YOU are the abuser, you retarded bastard.
Sure it is.The question asked by the OP WAS specific, idiot.
Talk of cell chemistry AS WELL AS thermal considerations IS part of why
that voltage was chosen.
So it is NOT "splitting hairs".
