Hi folks, newbie here. Great forum.

A friend has given me her bluetooth speaker to repair because the 3.5mm stereo jack has given up the ghost. I said I'd just replace the socket for her.

What I didn't realise is that it's soldered onto a circuitboard with five pins (in the shape of the Olympic Rings).

Do any of you know where I can buy one these from? The rest of the board is fine and it would cost too much to replace the whole thing.

There's nothing written on the socket, but the circuitboard says "J2" next to it.

Cheers,

Andy

Sir nerion. . . . . . . .

Thats an ODD DUCK . . . . . with its vertical mount . . . . . check out the switching action and respective connections and compare it against yours , with the 5th unit over, at the very bottom of the page.
If it does NOT incorporate the internal switching action it will be the 3rd unit over . . . you confirm.

The inserted mini phone plugs play / wobble will be lessened with this units metal sleeve.
