What is your opinion on this product?http://www.robotshop.com/eu/en/433-mhz-rf-link-kit.html
Its cheap, im looking for something more affordable for a test version of the machine, would this do the work?
Will it work.. yeah, but it will also be very susceptible to noise. Specifically anything else operating on 433Mhz.
It would be good for a starting project... but it would be best to use that with a microcontroller or some form of encoder/decoder so that only the desired signal gets through.

well it will be inside of a roaring beast hehe so there will be plenty of noise, dont know if it can interfere negatively. If not, it's all i need to start it, see if its viable, and it will be a starting point!

I would look for a module that is specified as an RF remote. A transmitter / receiver alone will not have much noise immunity, and being next to a brushed motor is a very noisy environment. Also, higher frequencies are better noise-wise. I would look for 1.2GHz ones.
