Waveform Generator Issue

I have Bk 4012A waveform generator and when i check it with my oscilloscope it looks fine but when i use it to drive a circuit i get nothing. I am thinking I blew something and now i cant get enough power to drive the circuit.

When you use it to "drive a circuit" and you "get nothing", can you describe:

a) what circuit you're driving (specifically the input impedance)
b) what exactly "get nothing" means (does it mean no output from the circuit in question, or no output from your signal generator)
