Vintage transistor tester?

I found an old transistor tester what it seems like.

Thought it would be a cool addition to my workbench, everything looks okay visually inside, only the battery has to be changed.

Does anybody know how this piece of device works?

I've been waiting to see if anybody here actually HAS experience with your instrument. (We weren't ignoring your question).

Did you try Googleing the manufacturer/model number to see if the manufacturer is still in business and can help you get the information you want?
Maybe get an operator or service manual on-line for it?

I did. To no avail.

Someone's selling such a tester on ebay. Maybe this person has a manual and is willing to share a copy/scan of it?

It is finished, it was just an idea born out of desperation to ask the seller.

Thanks for your replies. I have contacted the seller, and sincerely hope that this person has a copy, or atleast know how it works.
