Hello,
I've had recent efforts resolving issues with my PC2550. In the course of
these, I've acquired a PC3000 with 1 keypad. Since my home currently has 12
PIRs/contacts, I'm inclined to go to the trouble of upgrading, just for the
extra 8 zones.
One problem (only one?!? ;-{): This PC3000 has been uninstalled for some
time, and there is no record of the codes. The panel has an EEPROM RESET
jumper, so I'm thinking it could be cleared to factory. Does anyone have a
copy of the Installers Manual they could send me? (Thanks again, js, for
sending me the PC2550 version!!).
If not, is this the correct procedure?
1. disconnect AC and battery
2. install jumper on EEPROM RESET pins
3. connect AC
4. wait 10 seconds, then remove jumper
Once done, is there an indication of success? i.e. Keypad LED
song-and-dance?
