I just had a stand hairdryer (one of those that you sit under) fail, and traced the failure to a thermal fuse (SEFUSE SF152E, 10A 250V, fails at 157 degrees C). I found the part on ebay (but couldn't find it on digikey). Instead of replacing with the same part and repeating the whole process the next time it fails, though, I'm hoping to replace the fuse with a thermal switch that will reset itself after shutting off. I'm new to all of this, though, and don't really know what I'm doing. Can anybody guide me to a suitable replacement? Thanks for any help you might provide!

Whatever route u choose just make sure u found out why the thermal fuse failed. Also I would be careful buying these on ebay. I replaced one on a stove once that failed after a cleaning cycle and the owner bought the replacement part. I'm pretty sure the one he bought was a counterfit since I was back there repairing a burned up circuit board shortly after and the cooling fan which was the root cause.
