This set (F31632ET) will "click" on, Don't think any HV to crt (arm hair
test), no audio, CRT neck gets warm, but I see no glow, anyone know if this
a typical RCA problem, and would a failed HOT cause ths? I have no manual or
schemats for this one, anyone know of case history or famaliar with this
particular model, I'd appreciate any input....

How about starting with standard tv set troubleshooting procedures for dead
set and go from there. Post some real troubleshooting information and where
you wind up unsure of which direction to go for hints.

You gave us almost nothing to go on here...... you are our eyes and
ears.... we need at least some basic technical and definitive test results
and troubleshooting observations with at the very least a DMM or VOM.
My best suggestion to you is for you to go to the website for this newsgroup
at
http://www.repairfaq.org/
There with some searching you will find a wealth of information that will
help you to do some initial troubleshooting, voltage readings, component
tests, etc...... THEN, you will be able to post some pertinent information
that will probably result in helpful repair suggestions.
Be sure to heed the safety warnings in the repairfaq or you may get more
damaging results than just the hair on your arm standing up.... be very
careful..... dangerous and lethal electrical shock hazards can still be
present even when the television is turned off and unplugged from the AC
power....

OK then, I'll go check that site out,
I measure voltages on pin 1 or 2 of the flyback, and I get popping sounds
thru the spkr, and my meter pegs out, there is a small glow off the CRT
neck, so the heaters are working, I mess with the screen control on the
flyback and ya can hear it changing pitch(have to get ear close to flyback
to hear it), also, once its on, it won't cut off unless ya unplug it.......

Your troubleshooting approach needs some technical enhancement..... be
certain to go to the website for this newsgroup at
http://www.repairfaq.org/
You will find a wealth of troubleshooting tips, repair procedures, component
testing methods and IMPORTANT safety information. Do some searching and
learning in the repairfaq site, perform some more in-depth technical
troubleshooting and testing and if you still can't get it going, post your
renewed technically oriented troubleshooting results with some more details,
meter readings, and component testing results.
Good luck.... and be very careful.
