Rc toy Transmitter compability

Hi folks,

I have a Radioshack Hummer H2 http://support.radioshack.com/support_games/doc71/71672.pdf and it's missing the original transmitter, Those are hard to find so I came across this one,

A close look will tell that they look excatly the same , same brand, general 27MHZ and same tri-band , only thing is the K rad is from 2000 and the Hummer 2003.

Any idea if I have a chance that this would work on the Hummer?

hi there Jean

really difficult to say. your hummer pdf doesn't actually say what freq band it works on 27MHz or something else
so if you see it written somewhere on the hummer ... ok good
the next thing would be if the transmitter and the receiver have the same channels in them ?

it may end up being as easy as getting the correct transmit crystals for the hand controller and changing them
maybe a local RC club would be able to help you with that

The frequencies are excatly the same between the two remotes, on the 27 band, A, B, and C ( same color code as well ) . And both are of course digital proportional.
