Programming to display sensor data

Hello,

I would like to display a camera feed from my robot to a monitor. I would also like to display data onto the screen. How can I accomplish this with out using a computer? Ii would like to use pics to control the robot and send data from the sensor back to the control station. I was going to send the video directly to the monitor.

Thanks Harald, We may use that chip or the bob-4. Came across it in my 2 day google search.

There's a good PDF at that site that explains in huge detail what is needed to get whatever graphics you want on to the display, including how the EPROM contents are to be organized.

The chip is priced at $9.27 @1k so I would image that about double that would be a single item price which is still very cheap for what it does.

There's only 8 external components needed.
