Newbie to PCBs

Hi everyone, I have a project that requires through hole PCBs. I am not quite ready yet but I was looking at the PCB sites and it seems like the boards cost from 30 dollars each and up. I was really hoping to keep the costs far below that. Can someone please tell me their "favorite company" and explain the pricing to me. I will need about 100 boards that measure about 1.2 X 2.5 inches. I can't afford 3000 dollars.

Looks like they would 2" square boards 3 for $10.
