newbie question on DC oscillator

Hi,

Would appreciate some tips/info on how to use a frequency generator, a
high-current DC power supply to oscillate/pulse the power supply. If
there is a better forum to post this, please let me know as well.


I am looking for circuit X:

Freq.Generator -------> | circuit/device X | ------------> pulsed
DC power output
+
regular DC power supply

should be:

Freq.Generator+Regular DC power ---> X --> Pulsed DC power
